The Clubhouse commands
a panoramic view of the waters
of Hartbeespoort
Dam. Set on the foreshore water are three
private jetties. Over weekends, public holidays and National
Regattas the Club's ferry service provides free access to
yachts moored offshore. Situated alongside the west of
the Clubhouse, the large foreshore area offers dry sailing
berths, repair and maintenance bays, dinghy parking
and crane launching for yachts up to 2.5 tons. Behind
the foreshore is the trailer park.

Anti-fouling Costs
The
ground floor of the Club building houses the engine
room, workshop, the club's committee room and the
home to the National Sea Rescue
Institute, which
provides emergency assistance to all users of the dam.
The
first floor is the heart of the Club. A huge covered patio
overlooking the dam and moorings, a dedicated barbecue
area alongside a swimming pool set in its own garden,
ablutions, a casual dining area, members' commune kitchen,
canteen and pub complete the picture.
East
of the Clubhouse are ablutions and showers, lockers,
eight 4-berth rooms for weekend hire. Below are a lapa,
camping, picnic and braai area, and car parking.
Above
the Clubhouse is the club managers' residence and
parking facilities.
