It may seem that TYC only honours winners. Nothing could
be further from the truth. If it weren't for all the friendships,
comradeship, interest and participation, none of these
milestones would ever have been achieved.
Knowledge, experiences and support are always shared
with all members. It's up to you.

A wonderful, comprehensive book
"A history of the Transvaal Yacht Club 1925 - 2004"
Has been written by the late Sam Gluckman. Sam was a
member of TYC since 1967 and held various offices on
the Committee, including Commodore, Trustee and President
for 18 years. Who better to write TYC's history? His wife
Honey is still a very active sailor and edits and produces TYC's newsletter TACTYC. The book is available through TYC.
