Commodore's Dinner

The tradition at TYC is to hold a dinner at the beginning and
end of every season (Check Sailing Calendar). At the
end of the season a prize giving dinner is held.

At the opening of each season, the Commodore's dinner is
held in the lounge for members of the club, with special
invited guests. The following day, there is an Opening Cruise
and a Sailpast with the Commodore taking the salute from
club members.

Trophies

Trophies and medals or prizes are handed out to the winners
of the different series at various Prize Giving ceremonies.

Many of these trophies are valuable and historic. Once
inscribed with the winners name they are displayed in the
lounge cabinet.
